We provide hot water bottles for extra comfort at night.

Luxury Touchpoints: A short but steep climb to Samdo, a village perched high above the valley with incredible panoramic views. Being so close to the Tibetan border, the culture is profoundly Tibetan. Luxury Touchpoints: The shortest trekking day but crucial for acclimatization. The trail climbs to Dharmasala (Larkya Phedi), the final stop before the pass. The lodge here is extremely basic, as it's just a staging post. Our luxury service shines here: your guide will secure the best possible rooms, and our porters will help you get settled early. An early, carb-loaded dinner is served before a briefing on the following day's challenging pass crossing.

For Trekkers: An pre-dawn start with hot tea delivered to your room. A specially prepared high-energy packed lunch is provided. The ascent is challenging, but reaching the pass adorned with prayer flags with views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and Annapurna II is unforgettable. This marks your exit from the restricted Manaslu region and your re-entry into the Annapurna Circuit area.
Trekking: 6-7 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Best Available Lodge in Tilje/Dharapani.
Luxury Touchpoints: The trek is over! After a final mountain breakfast, board your private 4WD Jeep for the long but scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Meals: Breakfast
This is our most critical differentiator. Luxury here means curated comfort and peace of mind, not 5-star hotels on the trail. It includes:
Guaranteed Best Rooms: We pre-book the best available lodges, prioritizing those with attached bathrooms in key villages (Namrung, Samagaun, Lho).
Gourmet Meals: A varied menu beyond standard trekking food, prepared with fresh ingredients and tailored to dietary needs.
Private Transfers: Comfortable, private 4WD jeeps to and from the trailhead.
Expert Guidance: Highly experienced, safety-focused guides.
Helicopter Option: The unique ability to fly over Larkya La Pass (for an extra cost) to experience the views without the strenuous climb.
The trek is moderate to challenging. The luxury elements reduce fatigue, but the challenge comes from:
Altitude: Reaching over 5,100m at Larkya La Pass.
Duration: 6-7 hours of walking on most days.
Terrain: Rocky, uneven paths and a long, strenuous pass crossing day.
You need good cardiovascular fitness and leg strength. Training with hiking, running, or cycling for 2-3 months prior is highly recommended.
On the Trek: You will stay in the best available teahouses. In lower villages, this often means rooms with attached bathrooms. At higher altitudes (e.g., Dharmasala), facilities are more basic (shared toilets), but we secure the warmest and cleanest rooms available.
Hot Showers: Available in most lodges for a small fee ($3-$5), though they rely on solar heating and can be less reliable at the highest points.
Safety is our absolute priority. Our protocol includes:
Gradual Ascent: A carefully planned itinerary with essential acclimatization days.
Expert Monitoring: Guides carry oximeters to check your blood oxygen levels daily.
Hydration & Diet: We ensure you drink plenty of fluids and eat high-energy foods.
Emergency Plan: Guides are trained to recognize symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) and will descend if necessary. Helicopter evacuation is covered by your insurance, which is mandatory.
Permits: We obtain all necessary permits for you (Manaslu Restricted Permit, MCAP, ACAP). This is a complex process handled by our team, so you don't have to worry about it.
