Hi Martin,
Warm greetings and Namastefrom Nepal!
Thank you so much for your detailed message. We’d be very happy to
organize your Manaslu Circuit Trek right after your wedding trip in
Kathmandu. April is one of the best months for Manaslu, so your timing
is perfect.
Below I’ve answered each of your questions clearly:
1. Departure Dates & Instant Confirmation
We currently don’t have fixed departures for April, but we can fully
arrange a private or paired trek on your preferred start date – 22 or 23
April.
If you decide to book, we can provide instant confirmation.
2. Group Arrangement & Permit Requirement
Manaslu requires a minimum of two foreign trekkers + a licensed guide
for the restricted-area permit.
If you’re traveling solo—no worries.
We regularly collaborate with other trusted agencies and many solo
travelers, so we can easily pair you with another trekker only for the
permit process. You can still trek privately with your guide if you
prefer.
Group size, if you join one, usually ranges from 2–8 people.
You can also book now, and your trek will still be confirmed—we will
manage the permit pairing in the background.
3. Itinerary Flexibility
The itinerary on our website is just a sample.
Everything is fully customizable based on your pace, acclimatization
needs, or places you prefer to add/remove.
4. Pricing & Solo Supplement
The website price is USD 989 (based on 2 people).
For solo trekking, there is an additional USD 300 single-supplement,
which covers the private guide, private porter, all permits,
accommodations, meals, and logistics.
Included:
2 nights hotel in Kathmandu with breakfast
All meals & lodge accommodation during trekking
All required permits (Manaslu RAP, MCAP, ACAP), government fees
All ground transportation
Licensed guide & porter
Sleeping bag + duffel bag
Full support before, during, and after the trek
Not included:
Personal expenses: shower (USD 2–4), wifi (USD 2–4), charging (USD 2–4)
Travel insurance (must cover high-altitude rescue above 5,000m)
Drinks, tipping, and extra snacks
No hidden costs.
5. Permits
Yes, we handle all permits, and everything is included in the price.
We only need:
passport copy
Nepal visa page
1 passport-size photo (digital copy ok)
6. Weather or Extra Acclimatization Days
If unexpected weather or health concerns require itinerary changes, we
will adjust accordingly.
Additional days are possible at a small cost:
You only pay for your lodge & meals, plus
Guide USD 30/day
Porter USD 25/day
Guide and porter cover their own food/accommodation.
7. Guide Qualifications & Reviews
Your guide will be:
government-licensed
experienced in high-altitude trekking
fluent in English
trained in first aid & altitude-awareness
We have many recent reviews and guide photos—sharing them with you in
the attachments (or we can send more on request).
8. Porter Details
Yes, porter service is included in the solo supplement.
Carrying capacity: 20 kg total (e.g., 10 kg + 10 kg for two trekkers, or
20 kg for solo).
9. Equipment Included
Included:
Warm sleeping bag
Duffel bag for your porter
Down jacket is not included, but we can arrange rental for USD 2.5 per
day.
Next Steps
If your dates (22 or 23 April) are confirmed, I can tentatively reserve
your guide and permit pairing right away.
Just let me know your preferred start date, and I will prepare
everything for you.
Looking forward to welcoming you to Nepal and making your Manaslu
adventure unforgettable.
Warm regards,
Saran Adhikari
